has any one ever replaced these mine are in rea nasty *** shape and its all broken. would it be ok to just get rid of them all together?any info on them at all would be cool

 

I know someone that took them off... the car will still work fine, you just have to watch out for rain and puddles. -- you don't want water splashing in the engine bay.

You might be able to get newer ones from a junk yard... maybe.
