Which Model

Is there a way to find out which model shell I have? I am still awaiting the title via mail however the guy really did not know.

I can't tell if this is a R1 or base since there is no sunroof and no leather searts. Motor is obviously not there to verify dual oil coolers.

Any feedback? Would it be listed on the title or can I tell from the VIN?

I'm guessing base. It has the base seats and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. Not sure if some people were able to get cruise control added to their R1's or not back then.

Yep, I'd say '93 base. You can register your VIN at Mazda's homepage and get full info on the car - that will tell you what that car originally came with.

It should tell you on the very first page under "Overview".

Mine says:

1993 RX-7 and then right underneath that it says:
1993 RX-7 Tour

Not to sound like a butthole, but the point of this thread is to help Carloswill identify what trim level his RX-7 is; not what someone's preference is.

its a base we all agreed bout 7 posts ago base seats, no sunroof. but i do see what appears to be cruise control switches.

but i do vagauely emember a thread concerning canadian trim fds and i do recall the trims being a little altered. similar to the disparity between usdm and jdm models. so u may want to search for that.

hey quicky don't worry u don't sound as buttholish today . lol. just noticed u sold your fd, whats next? it was beautiful
