Mindtrain Midpipe

Many years ago, I ran a prototype Mindtrain midpipe on my '93 FD. This pipe was 3" where it hooked into the downpipe, then split into two 2-1/2" pipes, which joined into a 3" pipe to connect to the catback. It was a great ligtweight unit that quieted things down very nicely.

Anyone out there still running it, or have any idea where it went to? I'd like to get measurements to see about getting one made.

Thanks

Which reminds me, I got it from Rick Soderberg over at Rotary Performance here in the SF Bay Area. I'll give him a call to see if he has a source contact. Is Mindtrain still in business?

Thanks, but I don't see anything there. The page you list is for 2d gen. The 3rd gen page has much less. However, they may be able to hook me up with Mindtrain.

Mindtrain's an odd one. I called them a few years back requesting their catalog of their FC stuff. I asked if they had a web presence, and the guy on the phone said the owner is WAY behind on technology, they had just gotten a *fax machine* and that was a big step!

Dunno if they're still around, but they've never really had a web presence. I think Pettit actually used to resell their FC exhaust components. They had a wild FC system with a BUNCH of resonators throughout the piping.

All Mindtrain stuff I've seen was well made, thick gauge stuff.
