Low Boost/help!

Well, I HAD a perfectly-working car, but decided to swap my PFS intake out for the CWR intake i had laying around. The fitting was tight, but i got it in and tested the car.

First, it stalled it working the clutch coming out of the garage, car feels "restricted", and i'm not seeing full boost (normally 13/12 on PFC) or the normall low-end boost response. Couldn't find any leaks. Folks suggested either a collapsing primary turbo hose (its a little cramped w/ the CWR) or a leaky CRV/hose damaged during the install.

Reinstalled the PFS intake (albiet with CRV/BOVs vented to the atmosphere, since i'd shortened their hoses), and its better, as in the stalling/restricted feeling is gone, and boost response is better, but i'm still not seeing max. PFC setting 2 yeilds about 10.5-11 primary, and 10-11 secondary. Strangely, setting one yeild nearly the same, and seems to run a little crisper.

I don't know where to look now, everything basically checks out, and i can't see any leaks.

Have you checked the y-pipe coupling (assuming you don't already have the efini). Try all the hose couplings. What mods do you have?

y-pipe coupling is fine, as are the IC couplings as far as i can tell (of course i can't be under the hood to see 'em under boost!)... mods are in my sig.... no efini pipe... yet.
