Looking for non EGR equipped Vac Diagram

To be more specific, the car I am looking at is a `94 Canadian model without EGR. The fuel pressure regulator has two vac nipples on it. The solenoid that normally is used for EGR is used for the second FPR port. The big question is on this car the double throttle is routed differently than usual. The hoses off the solenoid are swapped and there is no check valve coming from the intake manifold.

I have a diagram from a `93 and `94 but there is no mention of the EGR missing or the second FR port. It would be nice if there was a diagram dipicting the difference. I am not 100% sure that this is a canadian/US difference or a `93 to `94/5 difference.

Interesting. I'm not sure why they would run 2 nipples on the FPR - do they both plumb to the same spot on the FPR, or is one above and one below the diaphragm?

Might want to get some pics and document this. Shouldn't be that hard to find out the reasoning behind the different design.

I'm not sure, but the '95 US MAY not have EGR. I've got a '95 shop manual at home - I'll take a look at it.

On the double throttle, are you sure the car is stock or near-stock, and you're not simply looking at a mistake by a previous mechanic?

As far as the double throttle, I am not sure why it is plumbed the way it is. It is entirely possible it was mis-plumbed by someone else, but that is why I am trying to get a matching diagram.

The FPR does has a nipple on each side of the diaphram.

Apparently, they are the same:

Sounds like someone did some "creative" vacuum routing on your car before you. It's not unheard of... My car had the ACV and other lines mis-routed after a Mazda dealership installed my reman (back in 1999).

Well it's not my car :)

This is the first one I have seen sans EGR valve.

I just checked my '95 shop manual - there is no EGR in the '95s. But, the vacuum diagram is literally identical to the '93-94 diagram, save the EGR stuff being erased. You can tell they just erased the lines, too.

Unfortunately, that won't be much help to you.

Seems like some Canadians on the board might be able to help. I'd get a pic of that weird FPR posted up - I'd like to see that myself.
