Is it Okay to remove these lines and charcoal canister? I’m upgrading my fuel system.

Attached is a small diagram and the system overview. How do you plan to stop these fumes from propagating? Where will they go? I’m sure it’s not as simple as capping it off...

I pulled mine and just vented the hose down and to the atmosphere. Hindsight being 20/20, I probably should have kept the charcoal canister there and vented it after that.

You can remove them but there's a good chance you will smell fuel vapors. I prefer to leave them.

True, I’m just going to leave the lines and canister then.

In the rear, I only removed the the canister and the hose going to the FE metal line forward.
The hose from the fuel tank to the canister was routed up into a crevice in the body work to keep out trash and fluids. Insert a small filter to it.
Thus the system as far as the fuel tank is concern, works like normal, it maintains pressure.
I use the two large parallel lines for fuel to the engine, and use the small FE line as the new return fuel line.
Have never had fuel smell problems doing it this way.
