Limp Mode

What exactly happens when the stock ECU goes into limp mode? i.e. are the rpms limited, boost etc. TIA

Not 100% sure of what happens ona 3rd-gen, but when it happened to me on a 2nd-gen (bad ECU), the most noticable sign was that it went VERY rich...

Cheers,

you will be able to rev still but you will be limited to your boost. I only boosted to about 2 psi b4 it would start shuttering like there was a fuel cut or something. What you need to do is disconnect the negative termanal from the battery and stand on the brake for 30 sec. This reboots the ecu and yoiu are all set.

What happens if the problem comes back. I reset my ecu like 3 times already. I checked the code this morning and told me it was a fuel relay. I replaced it so I'll see if that was the prob. Did your problem keep coming back?
