Alright I did the paper clip trick and it gave me 5 short blinks which means knock sensor, how do I get this fixed? My check engine light keeps coming up.

The knock sensor is located just above the front top spark plug. Trace it back from there. Usually the wire will break at the sensor.

Yeah, Swat81 can you explain this a bit more... I know that its the error codes from the computer but what do you short and what blinks. Wheres the table of error code? I'm thinking of writing some software to read the error code ( I don't want to pay $200 and UP) since I may have a little time after my current project is over.

SWAT81... do you own that M4? Also, you will notice how I said write... not steal...

I think I just found out what the paper clip trick is. Go to iluvmyrxy.com and check out the factory service manual. they show you how to bridge two fuse terminals to test the knock sensor.

how to get it fixed - dunno. fix the sensor? are you sure that is the correct error code?

Alright basically the paper clip trick can be found out through this link, I have used it and it works 100%. Just remember that 1 long blink equals to 10 and short blinks equal to 1. (long, short, short, short = 13) And you can look up the number at the link provided.

Yes, the M4 is mine

Check this thread:

It will help you locate the knock sensor and it's wire.
