Hey man, real glad to see that you finally got your front end all figured out. Its weird you posted today actually, I was just reading your post from a while ago where you modified that stock front end for your fmic. It looks great. I just got my 99 front from Jason on friday. How hard was it to install?

Good looking car.

I got mine from Jason too. It was really easy to install. I didn't have to modify the bumper cover at all to make it fit. I just transfered all the mounting hardwar over.

Quite a few people convinced me to go with a '99 spec lip on the modified bumper. The lip would not fit on the modified bumper. I didn't think if would look very good without a lip, so I decided to go with the '99 bumper.

Awesome. Thats what I was looking to hear. The car looks great with the front and those rims. You might wanna get some sort of protection in front of that intercooler. It would be a shame to see a rock imbedded in it.

Damn after all that work you scrapped the project because the lip wouldn't fit? Well the car looks great now

Looks great, but you really need to raise the car at least an inch. It's simply sitting too low for real driving.

Several things to say:

1. Nice

2. Great shots, any and every car has weird angles. You chose 2 beautiful ones for the FD.

3. Khumo Ecsta MX's? How do you like them? I might be getting those for my next set of street tires...

4. The JDM front end should work like a "Re-call" for us USDM Mazda Rx7 owners. It just beautifies the front end so much, and may save some FD's from horrific body kits.

5. Might I suggest OEM Mudguards for that extra "thickness" image?

6. NICE

Thank you very much. I'm not sure about the Khumos. I need get an allignment and get the tires broken in before I really start to push them. I figured I couldn't beat them for the price. I have always run SO-3s before now. I'm not sure if I like the mudguards, but I'll look at some other pics to make sure.

Ha. I have S0-2's on my car right now. Planned on getting 17-18's with Khumo Ecsta MX's when the time comes. Let me know what you think! 2 Friends of mine that AutoX said they love the MX as a great street tire.

I bought my car and the owner gave me the set of mudguards. I drove my car for a while without em, and then finally put them on. I think it does enough to the looks of the car to try and get some and put them on. Much better than a sideskirt that looks like a slug that's tack'd onto your car :P (unless you mold it in I suppose) And any rear valence doesn't flow right IMO.

I think I need to finish up the interior and then comes trans rebuild and tuning. I don'g think there's much else to do after that.

Simply superb.

Do you have distant shots of your car? What is your suspension setup?
