Why is your sig someone else's car?
There was a thread about this a few days ago. What series JDM harness is this? https://www.rx7club.com/search.php?searchid=10617228 John |
sorry bout the sig just fixed that.
the jdm will be FD3S 1992-2002 the link u posted did not come up |
The Jspec harness will reach into the passenger (US) dash area. You will need to have an early series harness to make things easier on you. Re-wiring and pin modification will be necessary to get the car running properly. I'm not speaking from hear-say, I've actually done it... Good luck!

^ Yes
If the car is using the S6 rats nest. If you are single turbo than it does not matter. |

can i just get a US spec harness for plug and play on the JDM engine?
also the JDM harness comes with emissions , which the JDM harness does not . so if you live in an emission's state It may be easier to get a USDM motor because they have all the emissions equipment |

why would you pay more for that , you can do that but there is nothing wrong with the JDM harness I did the repinning and its easy . all you need is half a brain and a pen and paper , the JDM harness is just as long as the usdm all you need to do is unwrap it , extend the water temp sensor wire , and you're good . with the modification to the pins .

you will need to swap the emissions parts out of the USDM motor onto a JDM motor . you will need ot ask more experienced members on this as I bought a JDM motor with all of that already gone .
