the ones that go to the brown top hat looking things(BOV 2) can just be vented the one that goes to the Air Pump you can put a little filter on that and that should be it.

Ok got another question. What does this hose do, its the black one in the middle. It goes behind where the throttle body is.

Last one. Is this the other BOV? It attached to the top left of the stock airbox. Should i run a hose out from under the intake or does it matter? Thanks everyone, im still learning

Ye thats the other BOV. I have mine vented like that, but i am still using the stock airbox. I just took off the hose, and plugged up the holes on the airbox with some hose caps ($2).

This is part of the secondary air injection system. It feeds fresh air into the air control valve, ultimtately adding air to the motor's exhaust ports for more O2 to the catalytic converter. The ACV hose needs to be connected to the intake system, or you need to install a filter on this hose, if there's no place for the ACV hose to attach to your intake filter.

That's the charge relief valve (mistakenly called blow-off valve, which it is not). The CRV vents the secondary turbo's boost pressure from 3000 to 4500 rpm, in effect pre-spooling the secondary turbo until at transition (4200 to 4500 rpm) the secondary turbo comes online via the charge control butterfly (and CCA solenoids/actuators) The CRV needs to be hooked up to the intake filter piping since the secondary turbo's boost pressure gets fed back into the secondary turbo's intake essentially creating the air loop to keep the secondary turbo pre-spooled. Do NOT vent the CRV to the atmosphere, because the secondary turbo will not achieve its pre-spool speed.

The air bypass valve (commonly called a blow-off valve, which in this case, is accurate) more toward the front of the motor, can be vented to the atmosphere. Make sure you attach an oil-type filter at the end of this hose, or it will make a mess in the engine bay, when the boost pressure vents when lifting off of the throttle.

What exactly does an oil-type filter look like, anything like a breather filter? Thanks...

SleepR1, my CRV is venting right now, and I have noticed any change in transition. Besides that, the actual design of the RXFashion CAI does not create a "loop". The hose just attaches to the box. The only thing besides the two turbo intakes that is filtered is the air pump.

If the CRV hose is venting into the airbox, you're creating an air loop for the intake and secondary turbo vent for prespool prior to transition.

Yes, except it will say "oil type" on the filter element.

Most aftermarket intakes have a nipple for the secondary intake system, air pump, CRV and air bypass valve. You'll need to let us know what type of intake you're using. If it's your own home-brew, you need to figure out a way to connect that to the main filter so it's getting cleaned air.

If it has a solid base plate that the filter mounts to you could have someone weld a flange/bung for the CRV hose to go into.( similar to the apex kit and others) Probably have to repaint it though. And put it into the sec. intake track as well.

SleepR1, I still don't see a loop at all. When the car is moving, the air from the CRV is hardly a ripple in the air current coming from the nose of the car.
