Installing outer door window trim, need some help
so I removed my old window trim and have new ones to put on, I took the handle off and the triangle off for easier access. But the problem I’m running into is I think I have all the white clips lined up correctly and the I attempt to seat it in place but it doesn’t go smoothly, I’m very hesitant to apply a lot of pressure or force anything because I do not want to damage it. So I guess my question(s) is, should it just snap in pretty easily, or do I have to apply some amount of pressure to get it to seat all the way? And is there any tips or tricks to get all the white clips to insert in the little holes easier thanks!

You talking about the exterior trim below the window?
It should just snap in but the new part will be a lot more stiff than the original piece. I THINK I've installed one before but it's been a while, don't remember anything specific. Hopefully someone else has some better input.

So for anyone else that may have the same issue, I did get it seated on there all the way, but what I did was made sure all the white clips lined up in the holes first, and then once I did that I had to apply pressure back (towards the interior) and while maintaining pressure backwards I just bumped it with my palm downwards and it snapped into place, and these were new mouldings, not preveiously removed ones. Not sure if it makes a difference or not
