Installing Methanol/Water Nozzle into Plastic Intake Elbow Yes/No??

I'm about to install an AEM water inj/meth inj kit to complement my T04S turbo and hopefully allow me to push to 20psi safely. Im running a Blitz FMIC, but my cold side piping still runs into the stock plastic elbow.

Can I tap into the plastic elbow for the sprayer nozzle right at the throttle plate area or is it absolutely required to purchase the Greddy Elbow?

Also, if drilling / tapping the metal is required can I tap the cold side intercooler piping before the elbow?

I drilled and tapped mine, used a little Teflon tape on the threads, had zero problems. There's quite a lot of meat in the stock plastic elbow to tap.

Just don't go crazy tightening it down or you could strip the threads. Besides that, go for it.

I tapped mine into my plastic elbow as well, worked fine and sealed perfectly. The plastic is actually quite hard and thick.
