ignition coil relocation
since the stock location of the coils is kind of a bitch to get to at times....has anyone relocated them somewhere else like along the driver's side fender area??
this just came to mind the other day when i was taking all of that crap off to get to the coils....

I havent done it yet. Im going to soon, I already burn up one set. I saw it on an N/A FD, but kinda hard to explain, you have the right area though, and they put a metal plate there, riveted it in and looks pretty alright too..

I'll post pics of mine.....it's relocated to the drivers side fender area and mounted with a piece of alum.
It looks really good and it's easy to get to.
Pete's car (from XS) has it done around the same area. I think i have a pic of his car....let's see if it comes out.

Mine is an R2 so it doesn't have cruise.
My plug wires are long enough to reach where i put it. I'm not exactly sure on Petes.....it looks like he used a different set than the norm.
