How's this for a low mileage gauge cluster??
I'm doing a 5speed swap and was lucky enough to buy my transmission from a guy who also had this to offer...

I'm jealous.
EDIT: BTW, where did you get the tranny? I may be in the market for one in a few months. |

Apparently the memory for the mileage readout is in the cluster and not in the ECU?

Very cool indeed!! |
It's on the cluster. I've sold quite a few clusters, and the last mileage on the cluster prior to sale is the mileage going into the new owner's car, permanently ;)

You could get it reset, but why would you care about what it says

I tired to search for this earlier and I know there is a problem with some FD's and tach's jumping around due to a cold solder joint but is there any way you can just swap the tach out from a good cluster and not replace the whole thing? Any links are appreciated.

It's kinda expensive tho IIRC. |
Awesome! Just what I was looking for thanks.

Well after driving around some today, one thing I noticed was that my oil pressure guage moves a hell of a lot better . The old one was really jerky and used to get stuck in place, sometimes at 0. The oil pressure gauge on this new cluster fluctuated very smoothly though.

yeah i've been looking for a new cluster... well just one with a low milage. im jelous!
