this post helped a little but I think people were being a little partial to the silver color:
https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...threadid=69630

there are RX-7s in my area priced from $14-20,000.00 with the original engine but lower miles.

I paid $13,000 originally (jan 2001) and put about 6,000+ grand in the car (parts and labor) over the past year. It is running absolutely fabulous now!

Your input is appreciated (not sure if this was lounge material or not but I know the people who view this forum [3RD-Gen Specific] would know best)
thanks!!!!

i wouldnt pay more than $17,000, cause it is modified and has quite a few miles although a new engine.

mazdaspeed00 04-09-02 11:46 PM

15k because of the milage and mods.

neoanderson 04-10-02 02:32 PM

so I knew the miles would bring it down but are you saying the mods are bringing down or bringing the price up????

alwan16 04-10-02 02:38 PM

the new engine and the fact that you seem like you knew how to take car of the problems makes it attractive....plus its a 94.

ttpowerd 04-10-02 02:48 PM

Probably around $17 or so. Most ppl like to do their own mods so they know they are done right and so they can do it as they want to. No 2 cars are alike and most enthusiasts want to do stuff on their own, not somethign that someone else did.

I also agree with alwan16, as a potential buyer I would view your interest in teh club, the car, and knowledge of the car as a +
