Dhahlen,I used a jig saw and belt sander. Then I used fiber-glass and remaining material on the inner opening of the bumper.

There's way too many nice FDs around for me to be proud rocking my stock FD. In any case.... my mods are Koyo radiator and vac job. Yeah that's it.... I'm boring.

Before

It looks about the same now, but underhood, it's got new vac lines. Sorry to bore everyone, but figured I'd post then and now even thought it's the same thing.

Future Mods: SS Brake Lines, Replace all fluids, fix 5th Synchro.... basically make sure it runs right before I start doing anything to it.

oh by the way... it started life as Montego Blue... it got a really shiit paint job and now it's emerald green. When I test drove it, it was near dusk and it looked good, so I didn't think much of it. When you open the hood/door and compare, you can see the difference. I'm debating if I want to go back to MB or wait till I get a body kit in about 4-5 yrs and have it repainted then. I plan on this being a very long term project car... something I can drive in between and work on when I want.

Bought mine bone stock, first mod was the Greddy 3-piece pipe kit, now pretty much everything has been upgraded or replaced (at least once )with new. The full mods list is available here: http://www.banzairacing.net/BR_project_efini.htm

I really like what people have done here. I must say the silver ones are awesome. One of you guys maybe interested in the new silver Carbon Fiber. It is actually aluminized fiberglass. Its awesome, I have been waiting for a silver to get down with this. Ultra custom look. Nice work guys. I wish I had pics of the whole thing, maybe in a few weeks!

silver FD guys, check it out!
