I know the CNC brackets helps reduce that type of damage, but NRG makes specific half force dampers specially for aftermarket CF hoods, i know that Ramy had started a GB on that subject but hes dissapeared for god knows how long. So im contemplating on what to do...any other options?
I installed the RE dampers on the stock hood, then installed the VIS CF hood later. The difference in weight presented no issues. If you were going from a steel hood to a CF hood, then there would be cause for concern. |

If you were going from a steel hood to a CF hood, then there would be cause for concern. i understand what you mean its just following the NRG website here: http://www.getnrg.com/products/index.php#block7 there 2 types of dampers for 2 types of hood/applications i just prefer not abusing it in any way then to deal with it after the damage is done thats all. Im getting the RE AD-9 hood in CF so i dont want to risk it |
