hks circle earth system

has anyone tried out the hks circle earth system?

KaiFD3S 04-08-05 07:12 PM

look into Buddy club ground wires, Chuck at rotary extreme can get it for you..it gave me an extra 5 hp on the dyno after installing it

jpandes 04-08-05 08:01 PM

Make your own for $10

Or buy pretty ebay knockoffs for $19.99

REnorm 04-08-05 08:45 PM

i think if your stock grounds are good, installing these aftermarket grounding kits isnt going to help much. sure you gain some hp on paper...but i doubt you'd feel any butt-dyno hp.

rotaryextreme 04-08-05 11:09 PM

The buddy club battery condenser is not just a bunch of wires. It has a control box. You can't make it for $10.

dyno sheet for Buddy Club Condenser

HP gain is just one of the benefits. The car is smoother after it's installed.

What's in the control box?

speedsilver7 04-08-05 11:18 PM

Yeah, I use it on my car and it makes the car accelerate much smoother. It's hard to believe this thing actually makes a difference but it woks.

rotaryextreme 04-08-05 11:20 PM

I don't know what's in the box. I just know it works by dyno testing.

can someone explain to me how it works
and can that goes on my turbo FC with LT8 ?
i dont mind having extra 10 hp

7racer 04-08-05 11:58 PM

I think it works as a ground and a "voltage stabilization" unit. From what I understand, its premise is similar to monster power units for home audio equipment.
http://www.monstercable.com/power/pr...erence%20Power (I have this unit:D)

If you buy into cleaning up the noise and voltage spikes in a cars electical system, this is maybe the rational for it working. Maybe.....

That sounds like a good plan. :)

It works on the FC as well. It's universal. You can put it on any car you want. When they sent me the first sample, I was skeptical on how it works. It's hard to believe a small box which attaches to the battery and with extra ground wires can make some difference on the HP of the engine. But after dyno testing it on Kaifd3s's car, there is defintely a gain throughout the powerband.

Here is the literature directly from Buddy Club.

" Utilizing the latest racing technology, the Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser combined an electrical grounding system with a battery current and voltage stabilization control unit. The unit is designed to stabilize electrical "noise" and voltage spikes and offer additional grounding for any vehicles.

Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser maximizes the efficiency of all factory and aftermarket vehicle electrical systems and as the result you will get smoother engine operation, more efficient electrical component operation, improved electrical current and better fuel economy.

Buddy Club Racing Spec Condenser will work with most other aftermarket ground system and it is a great addition to any high HP force induction vehicles.

Features include:

- Cool blue led lights to spice up your engine bay
- 2 in 1 designed off both Grounding and Stabilize voltage
- Improve Horse power and torque
- Improve Fuel Economy
- Smooth idling with improve engine response
- Improve all electrical component performance
- Improve battery life"

So Chuck, is the HKS Circle Earth System just a bunch of wires, no controller? Any experience w/ it?

bleung 04-09-05 11:48 AM

Chuck,
What was the condition of KaiFD3S' stock grounds before you put on this unit for testing?
Thanks,
Brian

I wish I could buy this! But I'm already going to order a lot of parts from Rotary Extreme and my budget is going to be a little tight for awhile.

HedgeHog 04-10-05 01:04 AM

condensor? that's just another name for capacitors. so basically it acts like a line conditioner for grounds.

rotaryextreme 04-10-05 07:32 PM

HKS one is just ground wires. No box. No experience with it.

Chuck

The grounds on Kaifd3s's car are just stock. All the stock ground wires are still there.

No worries. I will give you a special price on this if you are purchasing other parts or you have purchased from us.

4CN Air 04-10-05 08:32 PM

so no test on a car with a 'typical' ground kit installed? Like to see if the improvement came from simply a proper grounding or if the box actually improves it further?
