Question Help Wiper Problem

I tried turning on my wipers sometime this week on my FD and when I went to turn them on the wipers didn’t work but I could hear a clicking noise behind the gauge cluster and as I turned the speed up the clicking got faster. So what I did was chek the fuse, fuse still good check the plug on the wiring harness to see if I was getting power to the motor and I did get power but no ground so I plugged the motor straight to the battery using to wires + - the motor went for a quick second and never went again and also the clicking behind the gauge cluster stopped also checked the wiper fuse and the fuse was still good. So what I was thinking was to change the wiper relay but I don’t know where the relay is located. If some body knows where it is located let me know or if some body has had wiper problems like min let me know how you fixed your problem. Thanks guys!

There is no wiper relay to check. Chances are the motor has failed and you need to replace it - or the linkage could be in a bind from something lodged down inside them. Check for trash/twigs etc in the vents where the linkage is, then pull the motor and replace it if the linkage checks out.

I have a good motor if interested - $30 shipped
