Help please!

Two things. One - I took my FD out with some friends and had some fun, not to much fun, all temps were fine, and normal, got back let it idle and cool down and heard bubling sounds... water? After a couple of minutes it cooled down, its never happened before, what could it be? Another, I get a ratterling sound when I take off in first... what could it be?

I've herd the bubbling in my own car, right after auto crossing, it was coolant. When you run coolant in your car especially at a low coolant to water ratio it has a tendency to bubble in your overflow tank. In my car it wasn’t bubbling in the cooling system (radiator) and i know the increase of pressure in the cooling system actually increases the boiling temperature that that’s possibly why it would only boil in your overflow tank.

Hope that helps

As for the rattling in first gear i have no idea.

The rattling is coming from the engine/transmission? Could it be the bushings?

the rattling could be bad news, could be the engine or trans, but you say its temps are fine, no other problems?

No other problems at all... the rattling was happening before last night. Its been happening for a while now but I can't really notice it when in the car... its when your outside the car when you can hear it. Could it be the bushings needing to be replaced?
