I did everything it said on the picture to vent the BOV and then I started up my car it was fine for around 5 secounds and you know how the car automaticly kicks its RPMs up to 3000 to warm up the engine I heard a loud low pitch hissing coming from the BOV and I got scared and I turned off the engine. DID I DO SOMETHING WRONG?
also someone was talking about a whooshing sound around 0-4000rpms I checked that and that was not the problem
HELP PLEASE!
Or do you always hear the BOV when the turbos are on?

Oh man, I think you toasted your engine!! Get ready for a large bill!
Dude, put your dick in that hole, you feel that sucking? It's called vacuum. Now cap off the hole because your intake is hungry.

The bov is the one to the far right (passenger side). You don't have to cap the airbox but it is a good idea. Don't let your car do the 3k warmup, start the car in first gear and that will disable it.
If you vent the bov correctly, you will hear the whoosh when you're around or under psi and left off the throttle, not at idle.

what I did was first I disconnected the tube on the top left so I could get to the BOV then I disconnected the tube on the left side I disconnected it from the airbox and then engine and then I put the soda cap on the hole that was left but I didn't put a cap on the engine becuase you guys didn't say to. then I disconnected the tube from the BOV and I left that 1" tube on the airbox where the BOV was connected. then I zip tied the BOV to one of the big tubes. then I reconnected the tube that goes to the CRV (the brown BOV looking thing) then I clamped it. Then I double checked it and started up the engine. The engine sounded fine til the engine automaticly kicked its RPMs up to 3000rpms to warm up the car and then I heard a super loud whooshing sound coming from around the BOV and then I turned off the engine. Then my whole garage started to smell like oil mixed with water or something. Thats EVERYTHING I did. What did I do wrong?
and what do you mean under PSI?

I have no idea what you did. This is very simple.
You have 2 brown things, one is a crv the other is the bov, they do the same thing. Find the one that is closest to the passenger side, it connects to the far right of the airbox. Rip that f$&%er off the airbox and you have vented the bov!
It's only one hose that you need to mess with. It now "vents"to the atmosphere instead of into the airbox, therefore you can hear it now.

I'm really not trying to be an ***... But if you spent some time learning about the car before jumping in and trying to work on it, things would be MUCH easier.
Venting the Stock BOV has NO positive affects on performance or reliability what-so-ever. TO be honest with you, I wouldn't do it. These cars tend to "Blow" a little oil... Now it's just going to be all over the place in the engine bay unless you put a filter on it..
I know it's kind of cool to hear the BOV... But if you are going in blindfolded then I'd leave it be until you do some reasearch. There's plenty of **** you can screw up on these cars if you don't know what you are doing... And the sound of the BOV is NOT worth a 2700lb paperweight.

anyways (lol)
you WILL hear a loud whooshing noise if your car is not warmed up (basically when you have the 3krpm warm up)
its perfectly normal i believe. ive had my stock bov vented for about 3 months or so, and ive had no negative things coming from it.
also make sure you cap it off, its mandatory.

when you start your car from a cold start, it will be loud with the bov vented. kinda sounds like an airplane is under your hood.
and yes, you need to cap the hole on the intake, so it doesnt suck in any unfiltered air.
as for the crv, leave it plugged up. if you can post a pic, and ill let you know if its done right.
