Arrow HELP!!! Horn problem!!!

I can not firgure out the issue, the horn just spopped working one day!!!

I traced and tested the wire all the way under the dash at the orange connector tried grounding it manually by wire with no luck...

I know there is horn connection from the CPU2 which i tried and the horn comes on...so im trying to figure out where does the wire coming from the steering go, since per the wiring diagram the CPU2 and Steering wheel connection is supposed to be part of one wire!!!

PS i did check the 15amp meter fure its not blown!!!

As i mentioned in the original post, the horns work, but only if i ground the ECU2 green/orange wire...
But the same color wire grounded at or just below the steering column in the orange connector will not activate horn!!! And i cant figure out why!!!

the wire goes up and into a large harness...but i need to try and trace it and find out where its going!!!

Anyone???

Help!!! Anyone??? I really need to find where the wire goes through once it leaves the steering wheel!!! Are there any plugs/connectors that might have been pulled damaged somehow...and if so...where?

I'm having a similar issue. I'm looking at the connection on the horn mechanism itself and I'm seeing a screw with a nut an inch from the wired connector. Is something supposed to be connected to that screw/nut?

No the horns themselves are fine, my issue is the signal wire from the steering/under dash that needs to be grounded for the horn to function, its not getting connection to the relay somehow and i dont know why or where it leads once it goes into the large body harness up top

You do not touch the screw with a nut, its a factory default...horns only have 2 things gound = body to frame bolt takes care of that and power, which is a plug...thats it...its a simple device!!!

Do you have access to the factory manual ? I believe it has a schematic and test procedure for this.

Yeah, all the components work, i just cant figure out where the wire goes after the under the steering wheel connector after it routes to the wiring harness!

I still could not isolate the problem of the horn, as a last resort I routed and tapped a wire from CPU2 horn out to factory Airbag/Horn connector under the steering column...

It works, but i still need to know where the connection is broken/fried is at as I checked the second closest plug the x-09 connector by the firewall and CPU2 and it also had no signal to the relay...Im soo confused Where does the CPU2 wire and Horn button wires connecto to each other? At the relay infront of the car? or closer? HEEEEEEELLLLPPPPPP!!!

I think there's a horn relay in the engine bay. Check that out.

The relay works, I think because the CPU2 output works!!! and i think they both run off the same wire green with orange stripe!!!
