Question Help - AC problem or electrical problem

Can anybody give me some solid advice on an AC problem? I've owned an 93 R1 for 3 years now. I bought it stock and have done several modifications since then mainly through Pettit Racing.

Since day 1 of owning the car, the AC compressor kicks on and off at will. It works sometimes for a little while, seems to build up pressure and kick off. I can actually feel it chugging on the engine just before shutting down. Often I can turn it off and back on to reengage the compressor. I've had it to 5 different shops, they've replaced everything in the system. I've also done an ECU upgrade from Pettit. Nothing has made the difference. I can give many more details if needed.

Hehe... you have the wrong amount of pressure in the system... either the person who filled it up put to much in it... which makes the compressor blow abunch out through a purge valve or there is not enough in it in the first place the damn thing is touchy so you have to get it just right... is it 134 or 12? 134 is hard to judge how much should actually be in there you kinda have to put some in then see if it works and if not... put some more in... If I recall correctly mine had about 14.? lbs in it of 134... I've been down this road before so feel free to ask more q's if need b.
Good luck,
Ryker
