!! Help !!

Hi guys,
1st of all, sorry for any mistakes, but here in Portugal i don't get to practice my english

The question i have is a really important and requires a fast answer ... again sorry for the time limit

I own a typical european car, and i found out a 1993 Mazda Rx-7 at a local car dealer.
The only trouble is that it is a USA export car.
I was starting to read some websites for a little knowhow about these cars, and something hit a lot of them .
It is writtten in a lot of them that the Us version of the Rx-7 only comes in 2 seater option, only the japonese version has a 2+2.
If that is true, it is begging to fade away the chance to own this car, because i became a dad a few mounths ago.
Even if the car is a 2 seater, can i make a custom place to fit a babychair at the back of the car ?
I mean, is there space available to do this ?
The car is a few miles from me, and to take the trip not knowing is a bad idea...

help me please

there is only enough room for a small person to fit in the back of a +2. Basically the +2 version is for insurance purposes. it replaces the storage bins so there is no room for adjustment. hope this helps

The FD or any RX-7 is really meant for 2 people - the driver and a guest, that's it! It does make for a nice weekend car!

Is , i can understand that... and it seems that this car is a 2 seater, and not a 2+2...
but even if it is a 2 seater, isn't there the space for the backseats ?
I really what this car, so i am trying to think off a way to put my baby's chair in the space that would be reserved for the backseats.
I know this is a crazy idea, but if the space exists, i can put a local custom car company installing me a custom babychair, or something like that.
thanks

the stock rear seats, you wont get a baby chair in there. so you would have to get one made, not to sure what the laws are about this, but i would allso say that the rx7 is'nt really a family car.

I doubt the JDM rear seats would even work for baby seat. With a '93, you can use the passenger seat for the baby seat as there is no passenger airbag on the '93s.

However, if you want a sporty car and also need to haul a baby seat: look into an E36 or E46 M3.

The best thing you can do with a family and owning an RX7 is get a daily driver to go along with it.

It's what I have done, and my FD isnt even running yet. I am pretty sure the only qualms that will come up will be which gets to ride with me. Girlfriend or her daughter... :-P
