Help

My car doesn't want to pull beyond 4500rpm in any gear. When I put her at WOT, she hesitates @ 4500rpm, pulling but not hard. It will continue to pull but at a very so rate.
It seems like something is holding it back. This problem occurred after I installed the upgraded 1300cc injectors. I have reset my PFC to 1300cc and did the injector lag time adjustments.

My modification includes: 550/1300cc, PFC, D/P, FMIC, cat-back, intake and a Type R badge. I am still running an air pump, main cat and seq-turbo.

Thanks, Jay

I say get rid of the type R badge...other than that I don't know. You sure your secondary turbo is still good?

Check your vacuum lines under the intake manifold.

What is your boost pattern?

As adam c suggests, check the vacuum lines that attact to the UIM (especially the two that attach to the firewall side).

You sold the t04 turbo afterall?

I dunno why you didn't keep it. It's been in the family (and garage) for a while now.

How's the kiddie doing?

It sounds to me like the 1300 secondaries are drowning the motor. Better check you PFC settings again. Might be turbo related, but doesn't sound like it.

4500 is when the 2nd turbo comes in under load ,the 1300cc injectors come on at 3000 rpm. Check the turbo control under the uim and the related lines .

I reread his first post, and I agree. It must be the second turbo. For some reason, I thought he said the engine would not rev above 4500 rpm. Anyway, duboisr is right. Look for a vac hose or bad solenoid.
