Headlight issue

I turned the FD today and the headlights would not turn on with the headlight switch on the steering wheel column. The bumper and dash lights come on. I can raise and lower the headlights with the switch on the cluster.

I have checked all of the fuses and cannot find any blown ones. Has anyone ever encountered anything like this?

And if you pull on the lever your brights work too, correct?

There is a relay in its own rubber boot on the drivers side. The relay is green once it is out of the boot if memory serves me right.

When one of my low beam bulbs burned out this would happen intermitently. I replaced it and every thing was fine. I dont' know why but thats my story...

Awesome man. I put a relay in there I had and it works now. All the issues I have with this freaking car are stupid.

I got super pissed last night when the headlights didnt work last night. I only drive the car once a week not since i use my daily to work.

Thanks for the help and specially to Bufferovrflo!!

Yup np; glad it worked. Same thing happened to me weeks ago. My relay had a bath which rusted the contact points on the relay.
