Haltech install

Looking at fitting a Haltech ecu to FD RX-7. Does anyone know if there is any need to retain the standard ecu? Does it do anything aside from engine control (ie control dash gauges etc?)
Also will be retaining standard twin sequentials atm. Can you use Haltech output to switch between pri/sec turbos? Any information appreciated.

no need for the stock ecu. look in the haltech section of this forum. it is a sub section of the ECU forum
and no the outputs can not be used to switch between pri and sec. although you can still run a seq turbo sytem
