Greddy FMIC.....51 or 51r battery?
After searching the forum, I see that many people use a 51r battery when installing a Greddy FMIC. The instructions show the positive terminal of the battery closer to the engine. A 51r battery would put the pos terminal closer to the front of the car. The only difference between 51 and 51r is reversed terminals. Would a 51 battery fit better than a 51r?
In the Greddy FMIC installation, the battery is turned sideways. If your battery is a 51r, the + terminal would be closer to the front of the car. Does anyone have a pic of a 51 or 51r with a Greddy FMIC?

. Mainly it's my summer toy... rains alot here in the Northwest! I bought with just a little over 69K miles on the clock in April of 2003. I really wanted another Silver/Black combo. I looked for about 8 months to find the right car and then bought it. Spent all last winter doing the pretty much what you see in the pics and my sig. It's a hobby really and much cheaper than a girlfriend (or so I keep telling my wife
)!! But to answer your question I drive it and clean it (alot)
.
relocate the battery?
i moved mine to the trunk, it seems to free up a lot of space, seems it would help cooling, espicially with a vented hood perhaps. itrs quite easy to do, dont be intimidated by the fabricating.
