I could be far more derogatory, but suffice it to say I do not like them. I do not like ADR in general, and I do not like 19s on FDs.

But hey whatever, as the folks who want to patronize you say, "don't listen to them, it's your car."

poss 04-04-04 06:10 PM

I like the way they look, one of my friends was even looking at them, but found out that for a 18X10 they are something around 35lbs. I don't remember the exact weight. :(

Like I said, I like the way they look though, especially the hyperblack.

RX7 RAGE 04-04-04 06:19 PM

goodness gracious...35 lbs?! i can only imagine what a 19" one weighs at.

adam c 04-04-04 06:20 PM

I like the wheels, but not the size. Looks like they belong on a lowered suburban (2wd).

If you like the ride, you must like to feel EVERY bump in the road.

Azaka 04-04-04 06:40 PM

I like the wheels a lot, they just look absurdly huge on an FD. I think even 18s are almost too big. 17s are perfect, but it's your car do what you want.

circuitmagic 04-04-04 06:57 PM

I think the wheels look funny because fd's without body kit or spoiler on big wheels dont look right, if you put a nice kit on the car it will make it look 10x better, as far as looking good, they are a good looking wheel.

Vette454 04-04-04 08:29 PM

They are in the mid 20s lbs range for weight , you can find lighter most definitely but Im not racing , just fast cruising :) I am going to try and lower it some - maybe an inch , there is no rubbing issues right now but we will see once I lower it a touch more. As far as feeling evry bump in the road , youll be surprised how nice it actually rides , I thought it would feel like a gokart too but I was pleased when I put them on.

Those are some sweet rims though. I really like the look of them, but I'd have to agree with others. I'd like them more if they were 17's, or even 18's. They do look a bit too large.

Sounds like your test ride was on smooth pavement. :)

those rims,,,look the bizz to me,,,,how much they cost?

doncojones 04-05-04 12:22 AM

This is about all I have to say about ADR wheels in general:

maxcooper 04-05-04 12:33 AM

I think they look nice, but are too big for the FD (both aesthetically and for performance).

Light wheels give a better ride, too -- they aren't just for performance. A lower ratio of sprung to unsprung weight improves your ride comfort.

Yeah! More huge kits and 38' wings! :)

Scrapiron7 04-05-04 08:40 AM

Those rears are 275?? They look awfully narrow to be that size tire.

93BlackFD 04-05-04 08:46 AM

your girlfriend has some fat lips :)

(your car = girlfriend, not ( | ) )

pomanferrari 04-05-04 10:49 AM

It reminds me of a BMW X-5. If you lower it about an inch, it should look OK. The tires are gonna cost you an arm.

pito13b 04-05-04 11:09 AM

Looks good to me. An inch lower and a front lip and its all set.

TwinTurbo93 04-05-04 03:18 PM

I personaly love them, and your car looks great with'em on, if you lower it a bit than would look even better.
Good choice.

lopedl 04-05-04 03:20 PM

those are awesome, I really like the deep dish look.

Vette454 04-05-04 07:42 PM

Yup 275 30 19 on the rear , they are plenty wide :)

jpandes 04-05-04 08:13 PM

They look cool. Get a 99 spec or an R1 front lip too...

SNracing 04-05-04 11:24 PM

they look great, just to big. lowering the car will help though.

RX7SpiritR 04-05-04 11:37 PM

19's are just one size too big for my tastes. But still nice none the less.
