FD WannaBe 05-05-06 08:05 PM

I guess I gotta question myself now and ask if I really wanted it, would i have done the same thing... hmmmmm... For the right car Ide have to say..... Yes.. because its hard to come across the right car.. and hard feelings can pass... Oh well Ill find one that doesent have anytihng that I dislike and then wont have a complaint.. And i still dont like that color... :) Did i get --->:pokeowned

NuTbAgSaN 05-05-06 08:08 PM

dude i pretty much hated mb too when i got mine but now the only reason im not keeping it is the cost of paint. it grows on you hard!

but seriously, at that price i would not only be sneaky, if i had to i would kick my friend right in the nuts and run to get to the car 1st.

Yes, you got owned based on the mere fact that even if you didn't like the color, smell, or even an odd look that the car gave you, assuming it had a clean title, you could have turned around and sold it for 15k easy, if not more. That would have been 10k in your pocket to go buy your next FD.

You= :owned:

I think you are the one who got the better deal. There's got to be something seriously wrong with that car. Sometimes walking away from a presumed better deal is the better deal.

FD WannaBe 05-06-06 11:49 AM

Notihng serious has popped up yet... Like i mentioned the car doesent seem to have any skeletons.. the guy was very honest and I think he just had so much $ he didnt care about getting top dollar or getting low balled.. Im suprised he didnt have any grandchildren or anyone else who would have gotten 1st dibs.. Like i said 1 in a lifetime deal..

pianoprodigy 05-06-06 12:05 PM

2 rebuilds = preventative mainenance = lmao

FD WannaBe 05-06-06 12:38 PM

When the car has sat as much as it has it is... :icon_tup:

SiKoPaThX 05-06-06 04:45 PM

^ no...

Where do you come up with this?

If I averaged 2500 miles a year on my car, I would not rebuild it twice in those 13 years as "preventative maitenance".

Like others have said, he probably just took it to the Mazda dealership where they rebuild for any little thing.

Have you guys ran a carfax on this thing?

FD WannaBe 05-06-06 05:26 PM

Yes sir.. Ima take a few pics either today or tomorrow to show some proof of this car..
