Going single gasket list
hey Everyone,

I see a lot of twin turbo gaskets on that list but no apex seals, side seals, corner seals, springs for the above, etc. It is usually more cost effective to but a basic gasket kit and piece together the rest of the stuff. Also, some of those kits come with 2nd gen spring unless you specify what you want. I only use the fd NF-01 side seal and corner seal springs. They have inconel content and are much more heat resistant than the cheaper 2nd gen stuff.

thats true but anything related to the Rotor itself is already accounted for :icon_tup:i just needed help eliminating all the gaskets i didn't need from the OEM kit; so that i may buy them individually to save and invest the rest of the funds on others parts just as fuel system and such. i'm already taking care of the water seals and rotor oil rings gaskets with Viton thanks to Bumstarts research :lol: |

if youre going single and all the INTERNAL parts are accounted for then the following list is all you need from the atkins kit that are EXTERNAL:
N3A1-13-111 Lower Intake Gasket N3A1-13-112 Upper Intake Gasket N3A1-15-116 W/P Housing Gasket N386-15-162 Water Pump Gasket N3YA-10-427 Oil Pan Gasket (optional. most use rtv with the banzai brace.) N3A1-13-461 Exhaust Gasket N3A2-14-293 Turbo Oil Drain (front oil return between engine and pipe) N3A1-14-293 Turbo Drain Gasket (front oil return between turbo and pipe) N390-14-602 OMP Crush Washer (only if keeping the OMP) N3A1-10-424 Oil Fill Tube O-Ring 9956-20-800 OMP Crush Washer (only if keeping the OMP) 9956-21-000 Oil Injector Washer (only if keeping the OMP) 9956-21-400 Oil Line Crush Washers 9956-21-800 Oil Cooler Crush Washers N350-14-604 OMP O-Ring (only if keeping the OMP) NF01-13-ZG3 Lower Injector Grommet NF01-13-ZG4 Upper Injector Grommet 9954-10-1601 Oil Filter Stand O-Rings 9954-10-1252 Diffuser O-Rings then you will need a block off plate kit. if your kit comes with gaskets then use those. if it doesnt not then use the factory gasket for the part you are blocking off. |
