Gauge Cluster Problems

last night I got off work and started driving home when I noticed that my oil pressure gauge was reading 0. So I stopped and checked the connection. Now I keep blowing the meters fuse. I thought it could be my oil pressure sending unit so I disconnected that and it still blows the fuse. I have searched and found nothing on this. could my gauge cluster have gone bad?

In regards to your oil pressure unit/sender...is it the stock? If so, they prone to work sporadically and seem not to be working eventually. Here are some sources of info:

Thanks for the info. It looks like my oil pressure gauge acting weird is not part of the problem then it was just a coincidence. I will just end up tracing out all the wires on the meters fuse circuit.

Maybe you can see if it's the wiring harness by testing if you have a ground on that wire....
to the Pressure sender....
