Found the Problem
 

Okay I had posted a thread last Sunday mornining and I had no response from it. I went ahead and assumed the worst and called around for a new engine. I talked to the guys at Pettit and Gotham racing and they both told me to check the inner cooler piping for oil. If there was oil the turbos have taken a crap. Well the verdict is in and the turbos are dead at least number 2. By the way if a little bite of oil has gotten to the intake (just a little past the ic from what I can tell) is the engine going to go bad now?

So I have decided to go single. Any ideas?

That oil wont do much harm, dont worry. You can always take off throttly body and wipe it if you are worried about it ;)

My entire intake has a light coat of oil inside, it's normal. I think it's bad when the turbos get loose enough that this oil flow causes black smoke in the exhaust.

a bit of oil in your intercooler pipes is normal

"Some" oil in the IC piping is ok. However, blowing a smoke screen out behind your car and having the engine coated in oil isn't.

If there is oil on the outside of your engine, something is obviously wrong.

Use some engine degreaser to clean it up. Then take it for a trip around the block and see if that is enough to start it leaking again. If so, see if you can tell where the leak is coming from. If it's a lot of oil, the first two places to check would be the oil pan and the turbo oil return lines.

your fine...though id like to know why this all happened to you...dumping tons of oil and dripping oil

i hope you checked your engine oil level before cranking it up..........
I'd check my oil cooler lines and see if one was busted, also there are rubber o-rings under the oil filter housing that some times go bad.
i'd investigate a littel furture before calling the coroner and pronouncing it doa

dont worry.. brand new cars blow a little oil, its what stops mild steel intercooler piping from rusting =)

a blown turbo will cause your pipes and intercooler to be reservoir for the oil and when you idle huge plumes of white smoke come out...

one way to check is remove the intake and guve the compressor a little wiggle..

Well in the ic pipping runnuing from the turbos there was standing oil. Quite a bit.
I will make sure to check the oil cooler lines before going any further and yes I had checked the oil level.

Was there an oil change done recently?
Was it done by someone who knows nothing about 3rd gen RX-7s?

Said people will refill the oil using the total system capacity. This is wrong because an FD will never fully drain its oil, some is left in the oil cooler(s). Excess oil will cause smoking, leaking, etc.

If your dipstick is more than marginally above full, drain it, refill with 4 quarts then top off as needed. You determine needed amount by running car for a few minutes, leaving for 15 minutes, wiping and rechecking oil level.
