i just dont understand the significance of a specially designed or "limited edition" key?? it does not serve any special purpose. are you goona go up to one of your racer friends and say "o, you have 400whp...well i have this special key. eat it!" it may be something special to you, but it just doesnt work for me

I have the Efini key. i just like the fact the logo on the key matches my front/rear bumper and steering wheel. :) its like matching colors under your hood

seems like the spirit r keys are exactly the same as the ones pictured here but are red plastic instead? think autolock key

hey, if you cant afford performance parts for your fd, and a special designed key is the best you can do...then hell, good for you

What does this have to do with being able to afford performance parts? you are a jackass

FDNewbie 01-30-08 04:46 PM

Yea I'm not exactly seeing the correlation b/w affording performance parts and purchasing collectible items? I can tell ya that I've spent more money on certain collectible items than many ppl have spent on all their performance mods combined ;)

Re: pics of the Spirit-R key, JT used to have a pic on his website from back in the day...that's the only one I recall.

I think differently about this it, I would feel that if you could afford to buy an expensive key that you would be able to buy anything else you wanted.

Don't think this is the Spirit R key your looking for but here's mine.
Got it long time ago from rotary performance.
Had it cut a a local hardware store. Go to one you know cause a small key shop might f-ck it up.
Sharp looking and the luster on it (metal surface not the plastic)doesn't seem to fade from inserting/removing it so many time.
My OEM key from mazda started to fade but I guess cause its the original key from when I purchase the car way back in early 96.
