Call me new at this, please never a "newbie", but what are the best types of fluids to use in these cars 93-> on up? As always thanks to all who respond.

Red line and mobl 1 are really good oils to use in just about every thing.

I use mobil 1 for tranny and diff. it's avail at pep boys and the price is reasonable.

Neo and royal purple are also top rated, but not easy to get.

For brake fluid, Motul is best but I use Valvoline Syn bc it's easily avail and has a high boiling pt.

If you live in a hot weather area (routinely over 90F), 20w-50 is good. If you live in a moderate temp area (less than 90F), 10w-30 would be well suited unless you do a lot of road/drag racing.

i use 10-30w for california's mild weather and mostly highway driving.

if you are in hot weather or during summer months or drive in traffic often, use 20-50w or synthetic 5w-50 mobil 1.
