Flooded Engine
If anyone can help clarify things for me, I'd appreciate it. I have a 1994 RX-7 Japanese spec that I'm almost certain is flooded. I was having a new radiator installed and apparently the mechanic started the car and ran it just long enough to get it on the lift. After the job was complete, no start! The engine cranks just fine unfortunately there isn't even a hint of starting. I've been looking online for ways of unflooding, unfortunately almost everything seems to be written for 2nd Gen and older RX7s. So if anyone can give me some advice that is 3rd Gen specific, I'd appreciate it.
Also - I've been reading that push starting works to help unflood an engine, and just wanted to know if this was accurate as well. Thanks. Aaron |

Like a charm
Thanks, it worked perfectly in one try using your description. The spark plugs in the car probly weren't changed by the previous owner in 5 years.
