Cool.

Anyone else using any stainless steel hoses? Any drawbacks? What brand are you using?

anybody? you would think they would have had them already. seems like a sure fire fix if they of quality. they also pack a lifetime warranty. that might be good enough to try them. what are the diameter of our radiator hoses?

The size is their standard size. You get couplers with adapters that work fine. The hoses were of top notch quality not like the crap I have seen at import shows where the color scratches off. Maybe that was the flexi kool hoses. I got cool flex because they are the best.

It lasts forever. Unlike rubber hoses there is no chance of them bursting, which I have seen happen to Rx-7s on the track. You could also argue that since they are metal they will improve cooling by a small fraction. And hell, they look nice.

I'm no metalurgist but I have learned from the business that I'm in, every time a piece of metal is flexed, it is work hardened. There are only so many cycles of this work hardening a particular metal can survive before it fails. Heating, cooling, motor movement at every stroke and shift, I'll stick with rubber

dis1 does the coolflex have a website. and do they offer a lifetime guarantee. if they do then what is the risk? try them if they never fail. solved. if they do get a refund and go back to oem. f- it. nothing to lose and a lot to gain. everything will go someday. what ever lasts longest should be the solution.

This is why so many people have intercooler hose problems when they "upgrade". The intercooler is solidly mounted to the chassis but the engine moves around. Too often there is not enough movement allowed in the piping and they pull or blow off.

Yes, you are right. I figure these will last only about as long as my sway bars. Where do you guys come up this this stuff?
