FD with T51R - 400rwhp

Hi guys, dyno numbers for my car
400rwhp, boost at 1.1 bar
car had 8K Km on a new street ported engine when I took it for a dyno

I can't get the dyno graph attached.
car was running a bit rich, we could get another 50rwhp but better be on the safe

obviousboy 04-29-04 08:25 AM

wait you have all that stuff and it only made 400???

spoolin93r1 04-29-04 10:37 AM

Guys, being from Europe, it's unlikely he measured his car on a Dynojet. He probably used a Dynapack or similar dyno, which typically reads about 15% lower numbers than a Dynojet. That gives him 460 rwhp at 15 psi with a conservative tune.

Yes, I dont know of any dynojet dyno around here. Mostly Mustang or MAHA systems

yeah people dont realize how much work it is to have a good running single turbo setup. the twins are really the way to go since they make nice power down low and its so cheap to get all of the bolt ons in comparison and you only lose out on 75rwhp usually at most from the big boy single turbos.

400rwhp is very nice in any car much less a fd :) very cool to see some numbers out of a t51 bb, i would like to see the dyno chart though.

P.S. did you ice down the fmic? have a fan on it? also did you happen to have the ambient temp/humidity/altitude and other specs
