FD repair quote.

couple days ago I came across a forum and saw a wrecked FD for sale and am wondering how much it would cost me to fix it and how much should I offer the seller for this FD if i wanted to buy it.
ok, from the post I saw (no photo, description only), the passenger side front end is messed up, it needs a new radiator support, hood, pass. side fender, front bumper, pass. side headlight assembly, and possibly a new intercooler, oil cooler, and I assume a new radiator would be needed (btw, where are all the fluid coolers are mounted in the engine bay? all in front?) I'm not sure if I can get all the parts locally since i live in hawaii. how much would you think all those parts should cost? gimme an estimate, please! and I don't need any perfomance parts right now, I'll upgrade them later, so a stock replacement radiator and intercooler would be fine. It's a 93 R1 and has 20k original miles, and the seller is asking about 8G for it. Also how much would the repair work cost for just to get it running? (ie not paint the bumper and fender)
Let me know what you guys think. btw the seller says no frame damage, how likely is the suspension/alignment still intact? and what else should I look out for?
Sorry for this long thread, any help will be greatly appriciated.

why not look at it first?

I wanna do as much research as I could before checking it out, so I know what I should have in mind, and if I like it I'd bring it home right away. oh ya does anyone how hard it is to repair the radiator support? do I have to find one in some junkyard and ask someone to weld it on the car for me?

Go look at it and bring your camera. There is no real way for us to give you an opinion untill we have pictures so don't waist our time.

Also, if you arn't planning on doing most, if not all the work yourself then don't even think about it. Paying someone to bring a totaled FD back from the dead can be a nightmare.

It depends on how hard it was hit. If you buy all the parts needed and pay him the 8k (he's smokin crack)
then you buy the parts needed plus frame/body and paint, you're better off going in the for sale section and buying someones car for 12-15k. how does he know there is no frame damage? If he say's I could just look at it and tell...that's b.s. Tell him that you want pics. In all honesty from what you have said, I would give him about 3k plus shipping. Now a bunch of people are going to say I am wrong and that is a good price for the car, but you are looking at a wrecked car that is 10-12 years old regardless of miles...You are looking at a wrecked car..... and buy the time that you buy parts, paint, frame/body work and other odds and ends that do not show up untill later, unless you can do all of this yourself go to the for sale section as I said earlier
