fd bolt pattern question

5x114.3 seems to be the correct bolt pattern for the FD, but on tirerack.com many of the wheels that they show to fit are 5x114.

I'm wondering whether:

1. specs on the wheels are just inaccurate (i.e. the wheels that they show that fit come in a 114.3x5 size, but this size isn't shown)?

or

2. that 5x114 fits fine and the ".3" doesn't matter?

Anyone know? I'm considering some 5x114 wheels (not on tirerack) that supposedly fit fd's but just wanted to make sure that they fit.

Yep, that's all good. It's either 5x114 or 5x110 - those are the two common 5-lug patterns. Most people just say "5 by 114" for brevity.

The FD bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3 mm, or 5 x 4.5" (Ford 5-bolt pattern).
