i was impatiant and just wanted to get it done now it is taking twice as long. Just goes to show do it right the first time and you wont have problems. I am just getting sick of not driving it.

It is much better than the grease method cuz the grease will creap through any little crack. the toiletpaper doesnt need as tight of a seal.

Really? I would think the grease being more viscous would keep it from seeping out of the cracks better than something with less viscosity like water. Either way it obviously works pretty well with the water and TP. It doesn't really surprise me that it works, just kind of cool and I had never heard of it before.

I know what you mean by having to do all of that with the car on jackstands, that is the way I did mine. Although I guess I got lucky b/c the puller I rented from advanced auto worked like a charm pulling that outa there. I never heard of the t.p. trick either. Very odd but hey if it works that is pretty sweet!! |
