exhaust bolts

im replacing my stock main cat with a high flow today. i was wondering can i reuse the bolts that are used on the main cat? and if i need other ones what size?

yes, you can reuse the studs and nuts. look over the threads but they are usually fine.

cool, i thought they might be the same size. hopefully the gaskets and bolts are in good condition

one more question. the air pump pipe just hooks up to the pipe on the new cat correct?

lilroach 07-01-05 05:37 PM

if it has one, not all high flows are air pump ready

ok. the bonez one i have came with an airp pump pipe

your bonez should have new bolts use them. they are thinner and come with nuts.

the stock ones are locking nuts. ideally they should be replaced, but can be reused without much worry.

u have to remove the small check valce on the stock airpump pipe that connects to the original cat, then replace it with the rubber hose the kit comes with.
