The evolution of the 13BREW?

I'm in need of some clarification. I read some time back on this forum that the 13BREW underwent some modifications in it's later JSPEC years. Specifically, the coolant passages were enlarged? but I cannot remember the details of when this change took place or if this change was actually made? I believe there were other improvements made but I honestly don't remember.....

Please limit your replies to factual information and list your source if possible.

thanks gentlemen,

I am not aware of any internal changes, only external ones such as vacuum/boost control and turbos.

Dale

I see nothing indicating internal changes therefore I am going to assume that none were made. I appreciate your help

That article states the internals are the same, save the oil metering nozzles, which are close to being inside the engine . That's an SAE article, so it's VERY accurate.
