Lightbulb engine differences?

What are the differences btw. the 13b and the 13b-rew? I have seen this several times and I was just wondering what the difference was. Thanks

13b's have been in Rotary powered vehicles since the 70's (4-port) and the 80's (6-port). The 13BREW is specific to the 3rd generation RX-7.

How do I know what I got? It is factory crate motor installed by Mazda b4 I got the car.

If you have a 3rd gen IT IS a 13B-REW. No matter who installed it....
