electrical/boost problem

Alright guys, I didn't want to start a thread for this fearing that i missed a thread while searching, but i really want to fix this problem. I posted before that my car had sort of a stuttering problem during WOT. I read the turbo troubleshooting guide and i think my problem is related to the wastegate solenoid connector. On the site it says if you get a solid 6 psi when ur secondary turbo comes on(which is what i get) then it can be the connectors. It says to check it by removing the connectors from the ecu and check to see if you have 7 psi. Can anyone show me exactly wat i take out? I dont want to take out somethign wrong and mess things up, cause i dont even know wat the wastegate solenoid looks like nor which connector it is. I still havent checked my ECU bc im tryin to take out the panel, but theres this pin there and im not sure how to take it out.

Also, tonight i floored my car and i think my boost went up to around 12 psi and i let off immediately. This had never happened b4 and i think it might have been due to the cold weather? Anyway, I wanted to know how i would get my car to run just 7 psi until i get a PFC. I remember it had something to do with the wastegate.

Thats all, and thanks for anyone who helps me. If i missed a link then by all means post it so i can read it. I'm still new to working on this car as ive only had it for about 2 months, so sorry for being so n00bish. Bare with me, I'll learn sooner or later lol.

well, i have a question for you... why do you want to run only 7 lbs?? the car is fully able to run at 10 without a pfc and since you dont have that many mod's, you shouldnt have a problem!..... also, if you want to lower the boost, you need to get a boost controller (i have a manual one that Jeff hooked me up with, its great and did the job!) but you can only lower it until the spring (or actuator) rate and not lower. a boost controoler is used to control boost after the wastegate meaning is your wastegate is set to 13psi, you can only control it after 13 psi and not lower!\

good luck!
