Downpipe

is their a quality down pipe made that will allow my car to pass emmisions? Suggestions...

A downpipe removes the pre-cat. All downpipes do the same thing.

Yes, he is right on that -- but if you have visual inspections in your state and you happen to go to an smog shop that knows what a DP looks like, they will fail you.

ok, thanks. anybody know how long an emmisions sticker is good in PA for a 1993 car?

Only if the engine is nice and warm. It basically serves to warm up fast and clean the air until the main cat is warm enough to work. Just be sure to run the engine hard for a while (like 30min or so) and get the main cat good and hot immediately before the sniffer test. But they tell you to do that anyway.

Stickers in pa generally last one year, but if you're in Philly you're on different regulations from the rest of us. So I'm not sure.
