I have two cut wires (blue and green) going into my door. The schematic on page Z-100 shows it going to a door lock timer and also a door lock actuator. What does this door lock timer do?

My guess is that it triggers the security system (but it's just a guess). Anyone else?

 

My friends FD has an alarm that I assume is OEM. It sets itself and locks the doors after about 30 seconds of the car being off. It's really annoying, which could explain why yours is cut.

It is simply the trigger for the solenoid. I'm sitting at a restraint right now but I will try and remember to dig up my notes and pics, if this is what you are working on.

 

ahh so if there is no solenoid it goes nowhere? IS there a factory mazda solenoid I can purchase?
