just curious whether anyone is using float switch or level sensor to activate in-tank sump pump to fill your sump tank. I'm trying to remove as much heat as possible from the fuel system.

I'm looking at various stainless steel float switches but they are made for aquariums and known to get 'stuck'. I'm also not sure whether they will be okay with some pressure. Is there a float switch or resistance style level sensor you can recommend for E85 and gasoline? not too comfortable with using all plastic unit because the sump tank is in my trunk with no firewall between me and the trunk compartment..

I think this thread is better suited for the tech section.
