Different style reverse lights

Has antbody changed there reverse lights/reflector. I think that big reflector is butt-ugly. Something more subtle would be cleaner in my opinion. Are there any kits available for some type of conversion or will I have to custom fabricate something.

Are we looking at the same pic? We are talking about reverse lights not the rear lights. That is definitely not the stock reverse lights.

The tail lights just have the RE cover. And I believe Crazy was talking about the circular reverse lights placed in the bumper.

I don't, when it's painted the body color...but black looks ok.

but this is all besides the point, he is talking about the clear reverse lights to the left and right of the license plate.

Personally, I find that the backup lights on my FD are quite inadequate. Pretty much worthless. Those may be a good alternative. I don't think I've seen any FDs that have changed thier reverse lights (other than to clear out the reflector like Batman)

The reverse lights in the bumper are SOOO eclipse. Why on earth would you do that? Talk about being a riceboy. That diffuser on the other hand...looks pretty fly, and I'd imagine is quite functional. Maybe when i win the lottery I can afford all this crap

I was just going to say that, they have to be off of a 97-99 eclipse...

Since when is an eclipse a riceboy? Are you saying the OSOFAST eclipse is rice? hmmmmm i would hope not.

I personally like the circular backup lights, a lot better than the stock ones on my FD. But if i was really gonna get into it and fabricate something i would go with a more custom look.

Let's all admit that the eclipse while being a nice car is not in the same class of sports car as the FD. The Osofast eclipse isn't rice, but I have seen 1 million other eclipses that were. And I am not sure if SanJoRx7 meant all eclipses in general are rice or putting eclipse reverse lights in a FD is kinda rice. I think he meant the later of the two. I personally think this is sorta like taking corvette tail-lights and putting them in a ferrari. But I like that car because it looks nothing like a normal FD. I am sure if there was a FD that was sparkely green running around with "bling-bling" 20" chrome wheels and those reverse lights there would be a bunch of people calling it rice whether the lights are from a eclipse or not.
